Social Events
Being a member of Rotary is not just about charitable and fundraising work, part of it's ethos is about enjoying the friendship and fellowship of others both in our club and the wider world of Rotary.
Some of the social events can be quite competitive such as the ten pin bowling and quiz competitions, neither of which so far we have managed to win, but hey, there's always next year. However most are simply a chance to enjoy a meal, party, or visit local places of interest.
Our next social event wil be a visit to Renishaw Hall on Thursday 30th June starting with a private tour of the house at 7pm followed by a meal at the on-site restaurant.
Here are some examples of what we've done recently:
- Visit to Derventio Brewery
- Rotary District Conference weekend, Southport
- Italian meal out
- Evening walk along canal from Stenson Bubble
